David is the founder and managing partner of Employment Law Solicitors. Throughout his legal career he has specialised in employment law and only employment law. David has a large base of employer clients ranging from small owner managed firms to large plcs. He also provides advice to executives and individuals on the full range of employment law issues including exit agreements or settlement agreements.
Mark was called to the bar in 2009 and cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2013. Mark acts for both Respondents and Claimants in the Employment Tribunals, Employment Appeals Tribunal, County Court and High Court. He regularly advises individuals on exit agreements or settlement agreements and employers on contentious and non-contentious matters.
David has gained the attention of the national press on more than one occasion when providing advice in relation to litigation and he regularly acts for Claimants and Defendants in the Employment Tribunals and the High Court. David advises on the full range of employment law issues including unfair dismissal, breach of contract including bonus disputes, all types of discrimination and whistleblowing.

Mark is experienced in dealing with all areas of employment law including but not limited to discrimination, unfair dismissal, constructive unfair dismissal, breach of contract, TUPE, post-termination restrictions and whistleblowing.
Mark is a qualified teacher and has previously taught contract law. He has held lecturing posts at City of Oxford College and the University of Warwick. Mark is a member of the Employment Lawyers Bar Association and the Employment Lawyers Association.

John qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and has obtained a broad range of experience in employment law working for firms based in Cardiff, Reading and West London.
John has extensive experience of contentious and non-contentious employment disputes acting for both employers and individuals. John also has experience in advising on litigation outside of the Employment Tribunal including High Court litigation.
John is also frequently involved in negotiating more favourable terms in settlement agreements for individuals leaving their employer.
Outside of work, John enjoys getting involved in a wide variety of sports but his main passions are surfing, football and golf.

Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and has over 20 years’ experience in dispute resolution both in the Civil Courts and in the Employment Tribunal. She advises clients on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
Sarah has brought claims on behalf of employees in the Employment Tribunals including for unfair dismissal, discrimination and multi-party TUPE cases and has obtained substantial settlements for her clients.
Sarah also advises Employers on day to day employment queries and drafts contracts of employment, settlement agreements and policies and procedures.
Sarah also has experience in breach of contract claims and injunctions and claims for breach of restrictive covenants brought through County Courts.

Samuel joined DPH Legal in August 2019 having previously practiced as a solicitor at a niche employment law practice in Guildford. He has extensive experience in advising both employees and employers on the full range of employment law matters including:
• Employment Tribunal claims i.e. unfair dismissal claims and discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010;
• Negotiating exits and settlement agreements;
• Providing advice to Employers on disciplinary procedures and other HR matters; and
• Reviewing and drafting of employment documents including employment contracts and handbooks, consultancy agreements and settlement agreements.
Samuel is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Outside of work Samuel enjoys travelling to locations such as the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. Samuel also enjoys exercising and keeping active including going to the gym and cycling.

Varsha joined the team at DPH Legal in November 2018. She previously worked at a full service commercial law firm in Central London as well as in the employment departments of a leading London human rights law firm and international corporate law firm. Varsha graduated in law from SOAS (University of London) and holds both the LLM and LPC with distinction.
Varsha has experience of drafting, negotiating and advising on settlement agreements and contracts of employment.
Varsha has a particular interest in contentious matters and has assisted in bringing and defending a number of litigation claims brought both in the Employment Tribunal and High Court. These have specifically included claims for unfair dismissal, breaches of contract and complex discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010.

Farideh was called to the bar in 2009 before cross-qualifying as a solicitor in 2014. She has over 11 years’ experience advising clients on broad range of employment law matters.
Farideh has acted on behalf of clients in the Employment Tribunal as well as in County Courts. She has a special interest in contentious employment matters and has managed to secure numerous high value financial settlements for her clients.
Farideh frequently advises employers on non-contentious matters such as contracts of employment and staff handbooks, as well as dealing with internal grievance complaints, negotiating exit agreements and advising on disciplinary procedures and dismissals.
She has enjoyed great success in claims for disability, race and sex discrimination as well as unfair dismissals, unlawful deduction of wages and high value breach of contract claims.
Farideh’s background in science and engineering means she has a particular interest in employment law issues arising this sector.
